Before and After Your Tattoo...

We're thrilled you've chosen us for your next tattoo and look forward to providing you with an unforgettable experience. To ensure the best possible outcome, we've prepared this guide to help you prepare for your tattoo session.

Before Your Appointment

1. Hydrate and Eat

Hydration: Drink plenty of water the day before and the day of your appointment. Proper hydration helps your skin take the ink better.
Meal: Eat a balanced meal before your session. Low blood sugar could lead to feeling dizzy or faint during the tattooing process.

2. Get a Good Night's Sleep

Make sure to get a good night's sleep. The better rested you are, the easier it will be to sit still during your tattoo session.

3. Do Not Drink Alcohol or Take Blood-Thinning Medications

Avoid consuming alcohol or taking medications like aspirin for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment, as they can thin your blood and affect the quality of your tattoo.

Day of Your Appointment

1. Personal Hygiene

Take a shower before coming in. Clean skin is easier to work with and results in a better final tattoo.

2. Wear Appropriate Clothing

Wear loose, comfortable clothing that provides easy access to the area being tattooed. This not only aids in the tattooing process but also minimizes discomfort afterwards.

3. Bring Identification

Make sure to bring a valid photo ID to verify your age. We adhere strictly to age requirements as per state law.

4. Arrive Early

Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to ensure you have sufficient time to fill out any necessary paperwork and discuss your design with the artist.

5. Payment Methods

Be prepared for your preferred method of payment; we accept cash only. There is a ATM on site.

5. Shop Rules

Only adults over the age of 18 are allowed in the building.
Each client is permitted to bring only one guest into the tattooing area. Additional guests are welcome to wait in the lobby until the tattoo session is complete. If privacy screens are required or the area becomes crowded, guests may be requested to move to different parts of the shop.
No smoking or vaping in the building, feel free to step outside.
Drinks and snacks are allowed in moderation if you are being tattooed. All liquids should have lids.
Bring headphones if you'd like to listen to your own music.
Be respectful of artists and other clients in the building.

Special Notes

If you have a specific design in mind, feel free to bring any reference materials or sketches with you.
If you're feeling unwell, please reschedule your appointment. We want the best conditions for both you and our artists.

After Your Appointment

Day 1 to Day 4: Initial Healing Phase

Clean the Tattoo: Gently wash the tattooed area with a mild, fragrance-free soap and water. Do this twice a day, morning and evening.
Apply Ointment: Pat the tattoo dry with a clean towel. Apply a thin layer of Aquaphor to the entire tattooed area.
Nighttime Care: Before going to bed, apply a thicker layer of Aquaphor to the tattoo. Place a folded paper towel over the tattoo to absorb any excess ointment or ink.
Wrap the Tattoo: Use an Ace bandage to wrap the tattooed area securely but not too tightly. This will help to keep the area moist and prevent staining your bed sheets.

Note: If you experience excessive itching, redness, or signs of an allergic reaction, consult your healthcare provider immediately.

Day 5 Onwards: Maintenance Phase

Daily Cleaning: Continue to wash the tattoo once a day with mild soap and water.
Apply Ointment: Use a light layer of Aquaphor until the tattoo is fully healed. This can take up to several weeks depending on the tattoo and your skin.

General Tips

Always wash your hands before touching your tattoo.
Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, and excessive sun exposure until the tattoo is fully healed.
Wear loose, breathable clothing to avoid irritation.
